You can find call numbers on print book items within two of the library's main platforms:

  1. Within the the search everything portion of our library page, begin your search for the book item. Once you have found the print item you are looking for, you will be able to see a preview of the call number directly beneath the title information. You can click on the title of the book to access more information about the resource., including the call number, current status, and location (i.e. Stacks, Reference, Reserves, etc. )
    .

  2. You can also access call number and location information by searching within the library's catalog. From the library's home page, you can click the library catalog link (see screenshots below) to search for the item you seek. The call number will always appear for print books on both the search results screen, as well as the item details screen.

Note:  Electronic books and articles will not have call numbers listed because they are digital items without a physical location. Simply click the link to PDF/Full text for access or request for the item to be delivered via interlibrary loan.
