If a situation arises where you cannot make it to class because of an unforeseen situation or emergency, there are three things that need to be done.

  1. Notify your students via Moodle by sending a message to the class. If you are unable to gain access to a computer to send the message, skip to step two.
  2. Please call or email Jerod Pivin at jpivin@jessup.edu or 577-2256 so he can alert the students of your absence. A note will be placed on the door to let them know the class is canceled. If Jerod cannot be reached, call the main line at 577-2200.
  3. Notify your department chair of your absence by copying them on the email or calling their office phone.
